Startsmart
LEAPS are launching a brand new summer programme which they have called “Startsmart!”
Running for two weeks in July, Startsmart will offer students the opportunity to experience some university academic skills teaching, some subject teaching and a chance to take part in organised social activities and make friends ahead of starting their studies in the Autumn. This new programme is purely preparation and transition support, and does not impact on admissions.
Startsmart will be based at the University of Edinburgh central campus and is open to any student who is holding an offer through UCAS for a 2019 start. Startsmart is completely free of charge and LEAPS will also cover the cost of students travel. This programme will thoroughly prepare students for the transition to their University courses.
Please find a link to the Startsmart website here: www.leapsonline.org/startsmart
Applications are to be completed on the website and are open now!
