Today the Breakfast Club had its inspection from FareShare, which is the organisation that will mainly be supplying us with food. As we passed this inspection and have all the resources in place, our aim is to launch the club on Wednesday 25th October 2017.
The staffroom has changed a bit with the addition of bistro tables, a lockable fridge and freezer, new microwave etc.
The creation of the Breakfast Club is part of the schools Nurture approach and will be funded by some of the PEF money. All students are welcome to attend free of charge from 7:40am to 8:20am as of Wednesday 25th October.
In order for this to run smoothly we would like to ask for any staff volunteers that could commit to a day a week from now until December, this will enable us to create a rota.
Staff would be required to set up from 7.30am and then fulfil a range of jobs- making the toast, microwaving porridge, welcoming/nurturing students, replenishing stock, clearing/washing dishes.
