At Drummond Community High School, we know that every day counts in a child’s education and we all strive to support our young people to, where possible, attend our school on time, every day. All adults in our school have a role to play in promoting, managing and supporting school attendance.

Family Holidays during Term Time:

Please note that the majority of family holidays taken during term time are likely to be categorised as Unauthorised Absence.  In some exceptional circumstances, where a parent or carer has made a written request to the Head Teacher, a family holiday may be authorised during term time.  Please ensure that the school is informed of all requests for holidays during term time in a timely fashion in order that these can be given due consideration.
