Geosciences Planet Earth Distinguished Lecture.

The School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh has an established annual ‘Planet Earth Distinguished Lecture Series’ where an internationally renowned scientist is invited to Edinburgh.  This year Prof Penny Holliday from the National Oceanography Centre will be delivering a public lecture on Wednesday 18th March 2020 at an evening reception at Dynamic Earth from 18:00 – 22:00.  The event will be of interest to pupils studying geography, computer science, biology, chemistry or physics.  To register, pupils should sign up via the Eventbrite page. 

Please note that as this is an evening event, we recommend that younger pupils are accompanied by an adult.
