Dear parents and carers,
you are all welcome to the next Parent Council meeting on Thursday 28 March at 6.30pm in the Staff Room in Drummond Community High School. To find the staff room, turn left right after the entrance, and the right down the stairs.
The main items are:
- Amber Beaston from Skills Development Scotland will be speaking about the work she does and the support she can offer parents and carers.
- The school is introducing planners for all year groups and would like parents’ thoughts on what can be included in these to help them support students.
- The application to Leith Chooses by Broughton Primary School and partners (including Drummond) for “Growing Crops” was successful – we’ll hear about initial plans.
- We’ll have an update on Drummond Decides and how ideas for fundraising are developing.
There will also be the usual Headteacher’s report and Q&A, and we’ll consult on how we should update our constitution.
There will be tea, coffee, juice and biscuits.
